Frequently Asked Questions
This depends on how many people are on the pedestrian pallet truck training course and whether you are at a training centre or on-site. In general, a novice course is between 2 and 5 days.
This really is dependent on the person as everyone learns at different speeds but with good instructions and the right methods in place, there is no need to worry about your telescopic handler course.
The answer is yes. As with all tests, there is a requirement to be met in order to pass your pedestrian pallet truck test. There are two tests in your training, a theory test and a practical test to pass in order to gain your pedestrian pallet truck certificate.
Usually, there are 25 questions in your theory test. Normally, 5 of these are open questions that the instructor will ask you and 20 are multiple-choice and you must achieve 80% or over in order to pass.
